WES认证到底会不会提高GPA?真实案例详细分析!
Does WES raise or lower your GPA? Real cases: 2.4 up to 2.8, 3.6 down to 3.0, and the effect of political-theory courses.
GPA can rise or fall. This guide explains why and how to anticipate it.
One reason people do a WES evaluation is to see whether their GPA will improve. The answer: it may rise, and it may fall, depending on the shape of your grades.
WES converts your courses one by one to a North American 4.0 scale. In that system major courses carry more weight, and non-core courses (such as PE or political theory) carry less. For example, a political-theory course that scored well on a 5-point scale may count for very little, or be converted very low.
GPA changes cannot be predicted precisely before submission, and we cannot promise it will rise. We suggest doing WES only after confirming you actually need it.
Not necessarily. WES weights major courses more heavily and non-core courses (PE, political theory and similar) less. Students with strong major grades and weak general-course grades may rise noticeably; others may fall. We have seen 2.4 rise to 2.8, and 3.6 fall to 3.0. See this guide.
